GoPro, GPX Pro, TrackVision = Cool Track Video
Had my first track day of the year with the GPX pro wired in last weekend at Mid America Motorplex. The combination makes for some fun, but humbling, video. I'm running in the novice group, this was my best lap with the camera running.
I've got four track days scheduled at BIR this year, and with a little luck Jessica Zalusky's ZARS trackdays will add another date at MAM at the end of the season again ... then we'll see if I get any faster.

Awesome vid with the data and track map thrown in. Does it allow for a gear indication as well? That was the only thing I noticed missing. Other than that I need to get that setup.

Thanks for the nice comments, people.
It can do gear indicator as well, either off an analog input or by calibrating GPS speed against RPM. On the '09 R1, the gear selection output has six on/off signals so I had to use the latter method. I didn't have the calibration done when I made the video, but I do now. It works, although I've noticed it throw in false gear changes when I shift sloppy and the RPMs climb or drop. I also have the front brake light switch wired in as an on/off signal, but for some reason the software didn't export it ...
Here's a thread on how I set it up: http://www.r1-forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=312595

Awesome setup! I love the telemetry! That's BA!
I think you need to work on opening the throttle earlier out of the turns and just trusting the tires more to try to get it up to 1G+! I'll to you if I see that thing go to 1G consistantly! Props tho, I saw 1G a time or 2!

Yeah, it's kind of a pricey toy, but it was my Christmas present to myself - even if I did buy it in March Can't afford the Ohlins suspension I *really* want this year ... so I went for two sets of tires and this.

Wow. I came across this thread, and this datalogger is exactly what I was looking for ...and more!
What frequency can you log at? How many laps can you store? Was it difficult to wire it up?
