Where to mount foggers on 07-08 R1
Like it says^ I ran a single line dry shot on my R6 awhile back and that was sketchy to say the least on a stock wheelbase.
I just ordered a NOS wet kit w/ 4 foggers for my 07 R1. Not sure where to mount the foggers as the velocity stacks do a good job of being in the way, plus there is just about no room between the airbox and fuel tank.
Suggestions would be appriciated. Motor is out of the bike at the moment as well.

MPS makes the spraybars,Schnitz sells them too. No links, tapping intake ports is the most common method for mounting foggers, has been for years. Wet systems are prone to backfires, causing some nasty damage to all intake system parts too. Probably not much room for foggers on our bikes though. You could possibly tap them into the lower velocity stacks?

I had thought about tapping the intake port. The head is mighty thick though... tapping the lower velocity stacks would take some serious patience as the air box would have to be resealed around the foggers.
I also thought about tapping the throttle bodies. Possible option would be to drill out and tap where the sigot is for syncing the bodies..but that could prove problematic down the road when i need to sync them again.

The only thing I can find that uses spray bars in a dry kit... Everything that is a wet kit uses foggers

Yes, I know. Should have went dry, then you could have used a spraybar. Much easier to mount, less chance of fitment problems.

I have a NX dry kit.. While I have to agree with you on the fitment being easier. The actual use of the system and trying to tune it is a nightmare.
I had all kinds of issues with bottle pressure and tuning it correctly on my R6

Gixxer1300 from psychobike / busaorg etc makes a wet spraybar kit. It's pretty cool...
I doubt he has a R1 specific one, but it's all the same shit...

Nah I have this one.

Awsome company! They do military dicount! And some of the best customer service. I added a nitrous guage with my kit and after about 8 months it started to leak. So I called them told him what was wrong he sent me a free one express mail for free. He said if I have any more problems just let him know. My friends was so impressed with the kit I have 4 friends with the same one. I think Juissed runs it as well.
