WTB: Ventura Pack Rack

Hi all
I am looking for ventura L brackets and pack rack to fit
a yamaha R1 52 plate.

pack rack - PF14 / B
L bracket - YO78 / B

I have now got some L-brackets but did not get any fitting insructions has anyone got any? or at least explain how to fit them??

What year is your bike? You should be able to work it out with a careful comparison of the bike to the brackets shape. Have a look at Ventura's site, they have pictures of most models fitted.

Looking at the part number I'm guessing an older model bike? If you have underseat exhausts I'd strongly suggest bracing it well because a Ventura rack broke my subframe. Fortunately Ventura came to the party and paid up.

I'm guessing you got 2nd hand if you have no fitting instructions so make sure the bolts etc you use are suitable. Most racks come with longer fittings so the new bolt still has the same depth as the original if you follow. Use loctite and be prepared to remove some panels etc while you fit it.

Just have a go, its an easy install on most bikes.

I am not sure but I think there is cutting of the under tray, I think this because it is the only configuration I can think of that will mount the parts I have to the sub frame.
As you can imagine I don’t want to cut anything without being 100% sure.

Yes it was 2nd hand when I have contacted to pension I got it of but they were no help.

There are some bikes that do require some minor cuts unfortunately. You might be able to ring around some wreckers to confirm and maybe see if they have one thats already cut if you don't want to cut yours. The Australian distributor is Kenma, they might be able to help you out if you're in Aust? There's a list of distributors in other countries on Ventura's website.
