I'm a smoker, but I wouldn't ever smoke in my house. Or my car for that matter. I agree about the stench. And it never goes away.
Sorry to hear about you guys gettin out. 9 years is a lot of time to put in for Uncle Sam to just say see you later. Hopefully you won't have a hard time getting the follow up benefits.

Buttercup, my wife just got out in July and she's been having some trouble trying to get all her VA claims. Any pointers? Hardest part is getting the GI bill started.

Kinda my goal was to hear her run again and check for leaks with and with out pressure. I got to hear her purr and no leaks. Now rear sets, right throttle tube and grips, bar end, levers, and plastics.

Brandon first thing, don't believe anything the VA tells you!
It will take about a year from the date first filed and your first claim won't be what you want. You ALWAYS appeal. The appeal process is about 1-2 years.
The GI Bill/9-11 program takes about 3-9 months to start, you will get back pay from the 1st day of school. Once enrolled and its starts, you won't have a problem, you just recertify. Now you get no break pay so expect the amount to be less while on break.
PM with specifics with your wife's claim. There's a lot of injury/illness that is related to a specific claim that people don't realize. And LOD has a lot to do with it.
Example: if you got blisters while on active duty and now you have reoccurring bunions/blisters on your feet and now you have athlete foot and shin splints and ingrown toenails. All these diagnosis can be related to the diagnosis of your VA claim.
And don't forget to keep complaining and seek medical attention, just because you got out doesn't mean you stop hurting or complaining.
The biggest thing with VA is it still a reoccurring problem or just while on active duty.

Oh I rode the other day and thought it was my suspension, we'll my suspension needs to be a Lil tweaked but my psi were way low, like 15 and 21. My bike was riding like shit and fighting me on every turn. Tomorrow I'll ride and see how it does with the correct psi.

No leaks Dan, some oil swirls but I think it was just leftover oil. A few clean wipes and she seems to be all better now
