I'd like to add I've never trusted Phychiatrits, when I was hospitalized for GBS they tried to send a Phych in there everyday to evaluate me, I never agreed to this and always turned her down. As I laid motionless like a vegetable I kindly kicked her the **** out and stated. " I'm fine , I'm happy I just can't Fkn move, and have a family at home that needs me. I completely understand my situation, Now leave me Alone." I think she got it after a week or two.

Stay on the down low. Too many people already know if they are asking you. Time to move, asap.

I can see them doing this very move. So much for the police wanting to fight back...why? they get to keep their guns. That's like a tax being raised, but a certain group is exempt, leaving them will a lot less concern because it does not directly affect them.
Perhaps you should form up some kind of voluntary police department that all the gun owning citizens can belong too.

What about retired military and vets? I can't stand how police officers can be exempt, but not those who defend the rights of the "free" people.

'free' people defend their own rights.

A disaster. I would hope the citizens form up some kind of small groups and prepare ahead of time…taking notes from what happened in the aftermath of Katrina. Come up with some early warning plan if one of them does get their door knocked in at 3am. Then try to quickly outnumber the police/military unit tasked that night with confiscating. Each neighborhood needs to come up with a plan…then group with other neighborhoods to form some kind of defensive network. I would hope some military vetrans would be part of this group to provide details on military tactics.
One homeowner against a military/swat home invasion seems like impossible low odds of success for the homeowner. I am good with a gun and have been around shooting for over 30 years…but if I see myself in that scenario…maybe I get one or two before they take me out.
I see a higher probability of success if the homeowners are prepared to form up in quick numbers that would surprise the police/military. Then what? Stand off or shoot out…might be a truly historic event in this country. My fear is that if the civilans can repeal the first attack, would the military resort to more powerful weapons, like shooting grenades. Then what?

After they demonize the gun owners as selfish and greedy nutjobs, they can do as they please. Inked has it 100% right. The only way to stop it is to make the cost of confiscation so high that they cannot find people to do it.

dollaz buddy... its time brother.... this just in... bloomberg rationing pain medication at hospitals

It’s hard to believe that someone could come up with something worse than the soda ban, but don’t underestimate the sheer arrogance of New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg. Soda bans, trans fats bans, idling car bans, gun bans, smoking bans – what’s next? The progressive icon who doesn’t think you know how to take care of yourself is pushing new legislation to limit the amount of pain killers available at NYC hospitals. Even worse, he said that the many patients with legit pain may have to “suffer a little bit” in order to stop the few that would abuse the medication.

I posted an article on it once. It was called "When the Music Stops". It was a little unrealistic, but the theory seemed sound. Let me see if I can find it.

Shooters Committee on Political Education
BILL IS BEING PRINTED
*
Midnight Vote Planned
*
The new state legislation will:
* Limit ammunition clips to seven. It’s now 10 (Except Criminals)
* Force gun owners to renew their licenses every five years (Except Criminals)
* Stiffen penalties for using a gun in the commission of a crime
* Stiffen penalties for bringing a gun on school property
* New restrictions on the assault weapons already owned by New Yorkers
We (gun owners) did what we could.
The Democrats and Governor Cuomo say to us
Let them eat cake!

there are no words to describe what kind of a piece of sheot, stupid motherfcvker would ever even suggest something so asinine. He has to be one of the Top 10 posterboys for the kind of out-of-touch, ignorant, arrogant elitist that is putrifying this country. If I woke up tomorrow and found out that retard was dead, I would honestly smile knowing America just became a better place, no matter how infinitesimal it would be.

Requires manufacturers to use a coding system on all handgun and assault weapon ammunition
Sorry to say but NY will be ground zero again.
