I am suddenly hating Australia right now. I bet for the price that is going to cost in the US, you can't even buy a new STi here.... and to get one over here would probably be well over $200k for the lowest model.

I LOVE Corvettes, but I wouldn't own a late 80's/ early 90's model. They are bland to me.

Wow..not one bad review from y'all? Well I'll be the devil's advocate. I'm not a fan...it might grow on me after I see it in person. But so far I can't decide if I like it. The rear is mediocre, the side view is ok, and the front looks ugly as fook. Looks too much like a Ferrari...maybe even a little bit like a Lotus. Performance wise I'm sure its amazing. I think I read that its the most aerodynamic vette ever made. And the engine has x million hrs of technology put into it.

I'm looking to purchase a vehicle within the next 6 months around this price range, however, it will not be the vette, but to say I don't like the 2014 is #lies

Sucks the engine is smaller as well, but hopefully with weight reduction and technology it will still be a better platform for a performance car then the C6 was. C6 was a badass platform as well.

Maybe I'm missing something but the new shortblock has more power, the car is faster, and the MPG is supposed to be better so if that is hybridization then it's pretty got damn good.

I got to watch it go around the proving ground in Milford a while back. It sounds amazing and looked like one of those tyco race cars from when I was a kid. The ones you put on the electric track and raced around. It's glued to the track. They make me leave my phone in my truck so I can't take video or photos while I'm there. I wish I had the coin to buy one.

So would I, but wouldn't mind saving $40k. Aren't going to find a GT-R for less than $100k.
