OK this is the sample

What do you guys think from the sound...

This is Yoshimura Tri Oval Full Race Japan Exhaust system ( 2001 YZFR1 with some engine head modifications) ...I am accelerating on the track from the second gear to fourth one before tight curve....top speed around 215 km/hr...

Sounds good! Not too loud. Do you have a PCIII and a custom map for that, and does it pop much?

No... it does not pop at all...The noise level is really quite low...Not at all problems to drive in traffic... the pipe starts it's sexy metal scream after 7000 rpm...

Following modifications has been done in professional motorcycle tuning workshop in Finland( http://www.net-racing.sci.fi/siukola/english.htm)

engine head work

Yoshimura tri oval japan full race exchaust system ( very thin stainless steel ( standard exchaust system weights even 2 kg more !)

air pump blocked

BMC air filter + dynojet l

Before modifications we got 140 rear wheel hp ( very healthy engine) , after carefull tuning work we got 156 rear wheel hp. The headwork + this very special hand made limited edition Yoshimura TriOval (1-4 system) gave us also very healthy bottom end...from the 3700rpmin to the maximum there is all the time more power and torque if compared to standard engine...

Thumbs up

It's sound's very nice! I have a Yoshi Tri-Oval Race Slip-on and at the beginning I was thinking that it was to quiet but now I like it very much.

Good choice bro!

I can't decide if I like the sound of the Akra better or the Yosh better, but I feel your pain LooneyB... my best bud has a blue R1 just like mine but with a Yosh RS-3... I always liked the Yosh sound on my last bike (900RR) and damn if it doesn't sound the same... very mechanical sounding. Here's the quote that'll really get you frustrated... sounds very GP or F1 at high revs.

Just don't forget you'll always want what you don't have... humans are naturally greedy. If I load up a clip of my bike I'll bet you'll be going nuts wanting THAT sound... I get tons of complements on the sound of my bike... by the way, I have the same carbon Akra as you.
