I know the 04-06 R1's have 5 valves so its not possible to run dual intake cams. Im hearing that the 07 and up can run 2 intake cams because they are 4 valve like the suzuki's does. I just want to know if there is anyone who has done it or is there anyone that know someone that has done it?
Im not sure if this is what you mean but here are some specs.
Intake A= 34.45-34.550 mm
Intake B= 25.170-25.270 mm
Exhaust A= 33.550-33.650 mm
exhaust B= 25.197-25.292 mm
Call These guys very knowledgable on cam swaps. I always plot and plan motors with them, normally sudukis but they'll know if it'll fit and advantages to be gained..
My bad bro! He sense the cam position sensor is located on the exhaust side then that would be a problem. So he says it would be better to get a cam made for the exhaust side. He said he can do them for around 350 .
Yea that is a real good price compared to most out there. He.said both cams are even better and good in gain of HP .
