Hayden didn't even walk by..stayed behind the cover of the screens. I felt like both American riders totally ditched the fans..at least Friday. On the other hand..Rossi and Lorenzo were out for a while, and came by 2-3 times and signed everything. I for one was glad he crashed..bad mojo to the fans..bad mojo to the rider.
One a positive note, I did snatch a great picture with Josh Hayes and Scott Russell! Josh was very cool and even chatted a bit.

Why don't you shut up. Do you know Ben? Don't think so, so you don't know what you are talking about. Unless you go to the same MotoGp event every year you really don't know who is cool and who doesn't want to be bothered. You saw someone one weekend and think you know everything.
Ben usually signs and is approachable. Last week was a bad week for him. Apparently he was pissed off by Yamaha because he announced his leaving on the eve of the event.
I can tell you from attending half a dozen GP events in the last few years that Stoner is the only dickhead in that paddock when it comes to meeting fans and signing shit. After him Pedrosa but I think Pedrosa is so small that he gets easily intimidated by those of normal size, even girls because we've talked to him before, he is just really shy.
Stoner's douchery is so bad that it's spread to his team. When I go I get a rider's pass so I can walk anywhere. I was in the motorhome/Team office area the past few years and tried to flag down one of Casey's team. I wanted a picture with Adriana (she's hot) and she'll do pictures but not when Casey is around. After 2 years of trying I asked one of Casey's mechanics to tell her to come out of the Repsol office for a photo and was told a resounding "no!"
Oh and I forgot one guy, Pedrosa's manager, Alberto Puig. Now he really is a douche. He is bowlegged and stomps around through the paddock like he owns the place and everyone works for him. Even Pedrosa's team doesn't like Puig. We caught them at SFO as they were leaving on the train. Some of the shit they had to say was hilarious. They called themselves "The Dark Side" of the garage LOL.
Catch Ben some other time, I guarantee he'll be cordial.

Totally agree. I've gone to laguna in 09, 10 and 11 and met Spies in 10 and 11 was really nice, signed my poster and then signed my program when he could have walked on. I met Colin at the airport (was on my flight to Houston) and in the paddock, he ALWAYS makes time for fans. Cal was cool, met him in 11. Jorge walked by me but when he did he wasn't signing but would stop and take photos. Rossi signed my race ticket in '10.
What you say about Dani is correct, he is small and shy but, he did come back to the garage barrier line and signed something after he had already started to go back towards the garage. Other riders when its time to go it's time to go, I thought that was cool that Dani walked back out to me.

...to add to that, Ben and Colin usually also interact verbally with the crowd when they're signing autographs, and the crowd loves it. At Indy 2 years ago, he and Colin signed autographs for almost an hour during the Friday open pit session. They talked with a lot of the crowd; Colin had a long conversation with a guy that had one of his old helmets he was getting signed; same for some other people that had unique stuff with them.
Even Rossi has days where he just waves and walks on, but at every event he will be approachable at some point, probably many points, you just have to work for it a little bit. Nicky is the same way, so are pretty much the rest of them....... the twin Repsol anuses notwithstanding.
You can't expect these guys to be so receiving all the time. They have schedules they have to adhere to, interviews to do, team meetings, sponsor responsibilities, physical therapy for injuries (of which Ben got injured at Laguna, so that doesn't help)........a LOT goes on that you don't see. Keep trying, you'll get the chance and you'll see that he is in no way a douche. Stoner has a LOCK on that.

Jeez...sounds like your dating the guy! "Do you know Ben"..Don't blow your wad. It was just my opinion. I have been to back to back events and just like you say Ben is such a sweetheart..I can say the same about Stoner. A few folks I know say he is cool and signs autographs alot. Can you say the same? Apparently not...
Sounds like you are a stalker for Stoner and his wife. I wouldn't let you near my paddock area either!

Nicky made my mom's day in 2010 when she got a poster and him to sign it. One year I was right at the exit door of the 'hospitality' exit to the back of the pits. Thru the mesh screen I could see and hear Stoner coming out. He barely made a smile and walked fast with his head down for the most part. I did snag a few shots of Stoner and Adriana though-
They both walked past quickly, but they were on the way to race day warm up so they may have been somewhat preoccupied!
I know they don't mean anything by it when they just move on by
Darn tyre rack in the shot! Guy right next to me got to shake his hand!

Never seen Casey sign anything personally. And I'm in the motorhome area every year where the team offices are. He comes out of the Repsol (or Ducati when he rode for them) office and stomps towards the garage, same thing after practice.
Like I said you don't know what you are talking about but keep bitching. You were the one who called an American rider that many of us have met and talked to "a douche."
I will tell you that Stoner complained about security last year so Laguna had more security this year, even on Thursday. Even though almost nobody at Laguna wants to talk to him, apparently he thought it was too difficult to get from the garage to his motorhome. He was the only rider who complained.

Sorry I called your American rider a douche. I didn't mean to get your panties in a bunch over it. Take a minute and pull them out. As I said..IMO, and you won't change that unless you come through on your guarantee. Cool...
You keep ranting about Stoner. I don't like Stoner either so that should even things up a bit.
