Has anyone been through the class rides program with Reg Pridmore? If so what did you think of the class?

Jeffblau I will also be attending the august 12th class at road atlanta, maybe we can catch up with each other. I will be going there with a few friends as well. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun and a good learning experience.

Hey Jeffblau:
This is off topic, but in another post you said you did not pay tax on your bike because you bought it out of state. How did you get away with that, as I thought you had to pay when you registered the bike?

I sure wish I could attend that class also, but I'll be at the beach with my family that weekend. I live only a few minutes from Road Atlanta, and usually ride by there on my daily riding trips.

cranky - email me bikestud_ga@yahoo.com - we'll chat about the tax thing. I don't want it posted on the board.
and all you Georgia guys - we should meet up at Toosies sometime for a trip up 19, 60, 129 and 180! .. and don't forget the Vortex on THurs nights!
I just got my bike back from the dealership. I finally had my break-in service done. $155 ! OUCH! That will be the only factory service they'll do for me. That's for sure!
The CLASS ride is full. I just found out that I'm not "really" registered even though I registered. Go figure. I'm on a "waiting list". I've got my fingers crossed.

Pridmore
I haven't been to his school, but I've got a friend that's been to ALL of them ( he's the Dr. ), Spencer's, code's, Suzuki's etc. He thinks for the street rider that is looking to improve his skills, Pridmore is the best. Smoothness is emphasized EVERYWHERE, and it's a very good class. Have fun

The Vortex is a cool restaurant in the center of Little 5 Points on Moreland Avenue. On warm Thurs nights, there may be up to 200 bikes in the parking lot...
and a lot of pretty girls to look at!
Take 85 S to the Connector, get off Freedom Pkwy. Take Freedom Pkwy until it splits (stay right). Go through one light and then the road dead ends into Moreland. Take right on MOreland and Vortex is up on the right.

Hey man, I've taken Reg's class at Sears Point a couple of years ago. Lots of fun. I definitely learned a lot. Before that I had never gone out on the track before. After, I've done most of the tracks in CA He gives you a lot of confidence and it's quite an experience going two up on the back of his VFR You wouldn't believe the lean angles he gets to with a rider on the back. Very cool, hope you enjoy it!

Class rides is an outstanding school. I went to Road Atlanta on the 13th and had a blast. Reg, and his instructors take the class slowly through the first few sessions but works the speeds up as laps go by. Then they just turn you loose and the instructors give you advice as the day progresses. When he finally turns you loose you find out real quick what it actually takes to be an AMA superbike champion, and you also find out your not the fastest guy out there. Overall an awesome experience and if you have the dinero I would highly recommend taking the class.
