House For RENT in Miami
To anyone interested, I am renting out my house in Cutler Ridge. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house that is approximately 1300 square feet. I have a 1 car garage, and a 4 car stamped concrete driveway. I put a new air conditioner unit in about 6 months ago, and the house will have all appliances (Fridge, D/W, Washer/dryer, cooktop stove, microwave). The front and backyard grass is cut by the HOA. Most of the house is tile, with berber carpet in 2 other rooms and regular carpet in 1. There is an alarm system if you want to hook it up. It is a corner house in a cul-de-sac inside of a gated community. There is a lake inside the community that is stocked with Peacock and largemouth bass. It is located in the Saga Bay area. The house is wired for Bellsouth DSL and satellite. There is a small porch in the back that has a locking gate. Very quiet and nice neighborhood. Minutes from Centennial Middle School, and several elementary schools. There is also a firestation and grocery store less than a mile from the community. Asking $1300/month. I'm looking for a new apartment for around the end of March. I'd like to stay close to Doral though. Where exactly is Cutler Ridge? I'm around $900 a month now but I need a bit bigger place with a garage. It'd be nice not to have to use the elevator to put the bike inside.

Wow, real estate is really off the chain in Dade County. I'm about 2 hours North of you guys in Highlands County. I've got a super nice 3bbr/2bath with full size 2 car garage on a canal that's a 5 min ride to one of the best bass lakes in the state. This includes my boat house with the electric lift. Over 1400 feet under air and a glassed in lani. All for 575.00 per month. I had it built by a friend who is a custom home builder here in Lake Placid. That 575.00 includes escrow for property taxes and homeowners insurance too. I had it built in '98 and refinanced it about 2 years ago we the rates really dropped. Tony, I hope you are able to find someone to rent it. Guess that's the going rate down there. Just blows my mind.

Skeeter....I'm SERIOUSLY looking for some land up there in the near future....maybe I'll take a ride up and we can ride the -bikes around for you to show me the lay of the land.....can I call when I'm coming. ( prolly not for a few months )

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, you got me there.  But, I've grown out of most of that living. I can find everything I need just to the North of me in Sebring. We have the most prettiest lakes in the state right here. A drive to the beach is just over a hour. Strip clubs about the same.

Holy shit that's cheap.. You can't get a hole in the wall for $575 a month in northern, VA.. A 1 br apartment goes for roughly $700/mo here.. A pretty decent single family home starts around 300k.. Homes in my neighborhood start around 500k.. Alot of the new developments around her start in like the upper 6's lower 7's and up.. Prices for real estate have SKYROCKETED around here in the past 5 years...

Yeah, they have really come up in my area too over the last 3 or 4 years. A house down the canal from me which is the same floor plan as mine sold for 225k earlier this year. My area is considered rural as compared to larger cities, so the prices have stayed lower, but it's starting to rise.
