Isn't winter over yet?
Last riding season was cut short due to a non-motorcycle-related shoulder dislocation in mid June and the resultant surgery. I'm ready and waiting for Spring!
I'm itching to ride, man!
Sorry, just venting...

Well, at least I don't have mine parked that close. I couldn't stand to look at it without riding it. And once we get some good rain (to get the damn salt and sand off the roads) and then a nice day, I'll be spending the whole day on the bike too. Unfortunately, I'll probably have to wait until at least mid to late April for that.

I think winters officially over down here, we hit 60 today. The insurance on my bikes is getting unsuspended on April 1st. I'll be riding this weekend for sure!!!!

Had the R1 out today about... 55 degrees out there. Around here the first rides of the season in South East Mass mean keeping the eyes peeled for potholes...sand in the corners and loose rocks from all the roads falling to pieces. Fun, but I'm keeping road hazard alert up on high. Not to mention people in cars that haven't been looking out for us bikers for a few months so sometimes they're a little more prone to cutting us off and pulling the "oops I didn't see you" move cutting us off from sidestreets and the standard left turn from hell in our paths. Get out there have some fun...give a few extra minutes to KNOW your tires are warm...shake out any rider rust... just keep your eyes EXTRA open .... I don't want to read about a single R1 rider obituary this year. Hopefully this will be one of those riding seasons we all remember the rest of our lives.
