I read in the owners manual that the throttle bodies must be synchronized first at 600 miles, and then every 4,000 miles thereafter. Has anyone attempted this maintenance themselves?? If so, was the synchronization out of adjustment when you checked it?? Also, if anyone has a service manual, could you please post the instructions as to how to complete this procedure, as I would like to do it myself but I don't yet have a service manual. Thanks!

Check the sticky at the top of the mechanical forum and down load it. Its not hard to do but you'll need the tools.

Yes just did mine Saturday(16000 miles) and #1 & #2 were off alittle. But #3 & #4 were off quite a bit, as well as sets off. Bike ran good but noticably better throttle response after adjustment. The whole idea is to do it before the bike starts running like crap.
