how to get avatar from my computer

can anybody help me get a avatar from my computer i tried the drag option and that does not work

You have to have 30 posts before you can download your own avatar off your computer....until then you must use the R1-Forum provided avatars.....

so when i put up 30 post it will give me a option to use my own avatar? also how do i check to see how many post i have put up
