Maryland Ride for Kids : Yamaha R1 Forum

The Maryland Ride For Kids is September 15, 2002 and starts at the Mall in Columbia. This event is about helping an excellent cause. Last year we had 800 bikes of all makes and types from land yachts with side cars and trailers to the top of the food chain R-1's.
This event isn't about speed it's about helping and it's a great opportunity to show the commmunity that sportbiker riders support their efforts.

Sure - I've been riding in the R4K for three years and have always enjoyed the ride - it's not a speed run just train of bikes moving from one place to another - I've made some new friends and helped the kids at the same time. If I'm not mistaken Heyser Cycle and Bob's BMW web sites may have photos from the 2001 event.
