Desperate

Anyone in Los Angeles willing to help get my chain adjusted correctly on my 98 r1, will pay for the help, I can't figure what the prob is and I don't want to damange anything. I spend two days trying to get it right and it's sounding worse and worse..

i usually leave a little looser than I like it, because when your tighten the axle, it seems to snug up a bit on every bike I've had...

Probably time for new chain and sprockets.

98?? best replace the cush hub rubber blocks, 98s were prone to wheel bearing wear, chk the sprocket hub for cracks as well. The spacers over time will wear enough to cause binding as you snug it down... I had this problem myself a bazillion R1's ago...
