Instrument cluster problem 03R1

Normally when i turn the ignition to my bike, the tachometer will sweep and the meter will light up. As of late i have been experiencing a delay of maybe 2 or 3 seconds after the ignition has been turned. The odometer would reset if that happens. any ideas what is wrong with it. Have checked the battery and wiring. Even swapped a new battery but the same thing happens. All seems to be in order.Could the meter be spoiled ? Any help?

Its definitely a power problem;

Check your main plugs for corrosion.
