VIBRATION

Guys,

I was at the track a few weeks ago and got a new front tyre put on,,, about a week before this i got a new back tyre put on,,,

i noticed coming down the straight at 7,000rpm in sixth my bike starts to vibrate,,, i spoke to the guy who fitted my tyre and he said "Check that the weights didn't fall off" they were still their,,, he then said that because I got a tyre which is lighter and different to the last one i had on it,,,I should soften my suspension,,,

I reckon its more of a balance problem,,, maybe the guy who did the rear tyre didn't balance at all,,, could this be the problem????

is the road smooth? does it go away if you go faster? If you do the same speed does it do it in 5th?

I wish I had some good food for you on this but I'm only going to relate my similiar experience. I went from the Dunlops (stock) to Metzlers and the front end definitely feels different. I'm going to try to play with suspension set-up... If I arrive at a solution I'll let you know. I DO like the tires though.
