Step 1: Read about Pavlov's dog, learn

I'd recommend a rubberband and several paperclips.
That, or a pair of scisors and a wet sponge.

Try not to let all your wieght land on your ass or in your case your nuts. Try to absorb some of the shock with your knees kind of like on a dirt bike.

Not a problem. I may not do stunts anymore but still like to see up and rising stunters getting them nailed down.

I don't know what kind of underewear you wear, but this is my experience:

I normally freeball it in Boxer shorts, HOWEVER, I've found that when I go out riding or doing stunts I much prefer to wear Boxer Briefs with good "support" for those hanging items. The support keeps my boys close, and keeps them from getting squished as much. Just my honest $.02

I stand up when the back end starts dropping...or b4 it comes back down, start releasing the pressure so the back end drops nice n steady..no ball banging.. or shock smashing thump!

Now that you're placing all the landing stress on your rearsets, keep a close eye on them. Stock rearsets are notorious for bending/breaking as a direct result of stoppies. It especially sucks when one breaks WHILE landing a stoppie! Been there!!!

One of my pre-flight checks includes inspecting the rearsets.

A tell-tell sign that one is bending & a break is near is the shifter (left rearset) or break lever (right rearset) sticks or hangs when you weight the peg down.

Also, keep an eye on the bolts/clips holding the batterybox, bolt holding the rear brake reservoir, & axle nuts/rear wheel position.

This may sound like a lot to do, but it really isn't. Just takes a few seconds. You gotta keep in mind, stoppies ARE abusive so you need to stay on top of things as best you can.

Yes a preride check list is always a good idea. I've seen a left rearset break on a guy during a standup at about 80mph. Full gear did it's job but bike totaled, not a pretty sight.

i gotta chime in here too.. definitely check bolts and stuff.. my passenger peg bolts (well, i had pegs eliminated, but the exhuast hanger bolts where the pegs used to be) were ALWAYS working loose, even w/ lock washers on them.. and i'm not unsusually jerky w/ my wheelies or endos.

believe it or not, i lost my stock midpipe and can on the freeway due to several of these bolts working their way out one day on a ride. you can bet once i forked over the dough for sthe akrapvoci i was checkin those bolts every day
