Pocketbike racing in Melb?

Anyone know of a place where u can hire pocketbikes and do a race day with mates? Any idea how much it cost?

A mate of mine does it somewhere in South Melbourne but he has his own lil 49cc water-cooled weapon. I'm going to watch tonight so I'll post up some more info tomorrow.

You reckon they'd let me take my GIXXER1000 on the track?

That would be awesome if you could suss it out. Take the Gix? 1st gear all the way~ yeah Hehe

I've seen pocket bike racing before and those guys are pretty quick.

I raced pretty steady in 04 an only a couple times in 05. It's a total blast.

Yeah, im keen to get one of the 110cc dirt bikes, want one thats got proper gears and a clutch etc so i can practise monos and stuff without fear of damaging the 1. budget not stretching that just yet. but by the looks of it for about $500 i could probably get something. maybe thats were my next oncall allowance goes to..

A few of the guys have those mini dirtbikes. Doing circle wheelies on them pretty well too. From what Ive been told, u can learn quite abit from practicing on them.

hey steve chris at mpr is an inporter of atomic pocket bikes and he has heaps in stock with plenty of spares and warranty this is one of his bikes .. he has full range of bikes ..let me know if ya want any more info!!
