Dainese Boots

Guys,

I need to pick up some good boots for a track day on the 8th. Does anybody have these or know anything about them?

I have a set of the axial boots

I have a set of the axial boots, I got them at cycle gear and had to take them back and exchange them 3 times to get a pair that didnt pop a seam or the leather started to tear.
The boots are easy to get into and have a great calf adjustment, they are dainese which means you will get BLING points.

Next time i will get the sidi or oxtar.
Alpinestar sucks!

I still wear these old Dainese Pro's, they have lasted 6yrs. and still going strong, no issues or complaints. You get what you pay for, but I've heard a few stories that the newer generation Dainese doesn't hold up as well as the older stuff

Alpine sucks!!!

Alpine sucks!! I will elaborate.....
If you purchase the supertech boots make sure your leather pants do not come all the way to the ankle, the supertech has a insert that will not allow you to zip up the boot hence the need to buy "alpinestar" "short" pants. The SMX-3, i have had 2 pairs, the velcro that secured the top half of the boot completely wore out after 7 months and squeaked ALOT when i walked. At least the dainese has a full zipper.
Just my .02............

Thats odd..Ive had my SMX plus boots for over 2 years now,and never had a problem with them(also have alot of mates with them aswell). The squeaking is as simple as a few drops of silicone down the sides, everyone knows that... Protection wise,again-some mates with them that have had major spills in them have come out with close to no feet/ankle damage, life span is excellent, they wear in great so I think theyre a great boot..just my 0.2cents
