what is an under cut transmission

Or am I saying that all wrong.... I thought that is what I heard someone saying they had done to there bike to modify it

basically it keeps transmission from coming out of gears or missing gears. it gives more of postive lock on gears. pretty much once its done unless you physically mess something up, then you seldom have to worry about transmission ever again.
