07 Custom LED taillight
Ok I have a problem. hopefully somebody has one or knows enough about them to help me out.
I just installed the board and the running light and brake light work great. my problem is that when I apply the right turn signal the entire board flashes red and when I cancel the signal it does it's self test (I think that's what it is, it does it when you turn the key to 'on'). The left signal works fine. Any ideas on what it could be?
Yes the green wire is going to the green wire before someone asks that.
thanks in advance.

I installed the Blaster X on my 07 and no problems to report.... The signal does flash too fast (Gregg's flushies up front as well) but I'm just going to get the plug-in resistor to correct the relay speed. Sorry I can't be more help.

Warning for installing custom LED light
Do not use Krazy glue or any other glue with alot of toxic chemicals in it to seal the lense back together only use a hot glue gun. Any finger prints or anything else that touches the LED lights or the tail light lense will fogg caused by the gases released from the Krazy glue no matter how well you clean it! It is some sort of bizarre chemical reaction. The fog in the lense cannot just be wiped away with windex, rubbing alchohol, or any simple cleaning solution such as that because it will keep comming back. I had to use a plastic cleaner that removed a very thin layer of the plastic to remove the fog and prints on the LED lights and lense. Trust me I found out the hard way and had to cut out the lense twice. The second time around only I used a hot glue gun and made a good seal and it works great now and haven't had any problems. This is just a forwarning for all to avoid the hassle I went through!
The light works awsome and I recomend all to get it, but just take my advice if you do it yourself. Also I hooked a toggle switch for the strobe mode and it looks sick. I tucked the tuggle switch in between the frame on the left side of the bike under the seat. This way it is hidden but still easily accessable. I will post some pics tomarrow if anyone cares to check it out.

My board was faulty as well, pissed me off. The damn transistor or w/e it is called broke off while riding the first day so I had to tear it all apart again, line up the transistor to its 3 soldering points, hot glue gun it into place then try my hardest to solder those tiny points together. I was NOT happy!

Yeah, I learned this hard lesson as well. Hot glue gun worked much better then krazy glue, man was I angry for the fogging of the normal glue. Post up the pics of the toggle switch, I want to add that as well.

Toggle switch location for Tail light strobe
I tucked it on the left side of the bike in between the frame so it is hidden yest still easily accessibly while sitting on the bike. Here is a pic.

That's why I waited for the clear alternatives one to come out. The blasterX sounds like too much of a pain. Just for the fact that I didn't have to take apart the stock light and send it away made it a no brainer...The CA light is also plug and play, it works great and is less expensive compared to the blasterX.

same problem as Muffdvr
I had the same problem as muffdvr. Before you but it together mahe sure you epoxy or hot glue the large black resistor on top. Broke off on first ride. Fixed it and working perfect since. Love the look of these. I used 5 min epoxy. Can recut and redo easily.
