BAD JU JU! To start: Last 2 oil changes have been synthetic oil, plus just changed it and adjusted clutch pretty tight, but have had an ongoing lack of torque. When I rev it, it used to go well above 11k before catching at all.
NOW, I was doing 38mph down the freeway tonight.... cars were honkning, just altogether bad!!! The bike temp got to about 235! I limped it back in First pretty much the whole way. It is still under waranty, but not sure how I am gonna get it to the shop in the morning. Anyone have any problems like this? Just thought I would throw it out there before I take it somewhere, I know I could replace it myself. (I am in the Navy and am a mechanic/eletrician with the SHOP SERVICE MANUAL in hand) That and it is am oppertunity to use aftermarket "Barnett" parts instead?
Really sucks since I am deploying to Iraq in about 4 days!!! Tushay!!!
