2007 R1 Coolant

Breaking in to do the smog plates this weekend, and in the case that i get frustrated enough to just go at it from the front i was planning on picking up some coolant IN CASE i just remove the radiator. What brand/type would you guys throw in there, cause i have never replaced coolant myself on any of my bikes. Thanks guys!

This is my first R1, but I've changed the coolant on my honda's a bunch of times. I would either use Honda's Hp Coolant (the green stuff that's already mixed) or engine ice. It looks like the R1's coolant is the same as my 1krr's. I haven't checked in the manual yet though. If it needs a 50/50 mix than the Hp Coolant or engine ice would be fine. It comes pre-mixed at 50/50.

forgot to add to my last post...If you are going to use engine ice, you have to completely flush out the current fluid first. If you just want to add some coolant, I would just get the Hp Coolant, or yamaha's equivalent.
