Ok so Im out riding today and i decide to chase a new C6... Well im putting along at 4k and I hear this noise, like a rod bearing or something...But its not to bad so I think nothing of it. Then I floor it, I bring it close to red line, But i notice ive lost power (second gear wouldnt pull up on its own). Now im slowing down and the noise is worse...then gets worse and worse til now if i put any kind of load on the engine it makes this horrible noise.

Is this one of my rod bearings? It sounds like its the left side thats making the noise. If this is the rod bearing how much is it going to cost to fix? and If I get into tearing the motordown and all ... What other mods should I do to the engine? Fordged pistons? over-bore? ... Let me know because my bike is now in repair mode, And I need it fixed b4 summer time atleast!

Ok, I took it out again to try and figure out what is wrong and it def the left cylinder(s) rod bearing.

Now I want to look into doing some internal mods, since I have to tear it down anyway. The question is what to modify?

Come on give me some ideas and please try to give me an estimate as to how much the mod would cost.
