Yamalube 4R

Its time for the 1st oil change of the new season of my 2003 R1.

At the dealer, they didn't have any regular yamalube, just the 4R. I haven't run the 4R before; but I know its a different weight than what the manual recommends. Recommended is 10-30 or 20-40.

The parts guy said I would be fine running the Yamalube® 4-R 10W-50.

I know that the yamalube doesn't compare as well as other oils, but I dont really want to drive 20 miles back to exchange the stuff; and I dont know when they'll have the stuff I want in stock.

So should I worry about the different weight? I am fine with using the yamalube type of oil. I can switch to better synthetic's next time, but the weight difference bothers me.
