tachomter error codes

With the ignition on and engine not running I get the tach jumping from 0-6 then back to 0
Are there codes associated with this??
Thanks
JEFF

No it does it continuously - 0 - 6K - 0 - 6K every 5 seconds
It does the same thing when it is running.

Tacho will show 7k rpm for the exup and 8k rpm for the fuel sender
Check connections under the tank
Also you might want to check the big white connector under the left fairing infil....be careful when you pull it as the pins are known to corrode and break off....if all pins are intact then spray clean and apply some dielectric grease
This big plug can show multiple errors
Good luck
