2004 R1 For $7900 With 2,000 Miles? OR 2005 R1 For $8800 With 1500 miles?
It's a 2004 R1 with 2,000 miles, for $7900. Is that a good deal? Or a 2005 R1 for $8800 With 1500 miles? Both are stock and barely used. Which is a better deal? And are these even GOOD deals?

they seem a little high, but it's also the middle of the riding season now. Personally I would try and talk either one down a little bit, but my first shot would be the 05.

I would go for the '05, simply because the year difference is when Yamaha worked out all the first year kinks from the major changes to te R1....

The both are too high! I can tell you the 04 is only booking for very low 7's

They are both high priced. They have decently low miles, but some working needs to be done on the price... Good luck

I would be suspicious of such low miles for a 04!!! Either the bike was severely wrecked and sat for most of its life or the odometer was replaced. Same goes for the 05 unless it was an end of the production year bike.

What exactly is a good deal for you? There's quite a few variables we have to keep in mind, e.g. location, location, location. Just like real estate, location of where you're at matters. Seriously, it does.
In addition, does the current owner have a title? Do you have the patience and the trust that it takes for the current owner to transfer the title to you on a timely manner? Has it been in an accident? See, the list goes on. $8900 is a decent price if I were to buy that here in N. Texas. But then again, if it was yellow, red, etc, I probably wouldn't buy it unless the price was lowered.
