Service Manual for 2001 r1
By chance, does anyone have a .pdf service manual for 2000-2001 R1 they can email me? I bought one on ebay and was pissed off that they sent me a 2004-2006 one. So if anyone wants it, I can send it once I figure out how to send a 25MB file. Thanks.

There isn't one specific to 2000-01 (in PDF form I mean, you can get a hardcopy). What you need to do is download 2 files -- one is the 98-99 service manual, and the other is the 00-01 supplementary manual. It contains the changes that were introduced in the 00-01 model.
The links for those are pretty easy to find if you look for that.
