Will 07 R6 forks work on R1??

I wrecked my 07 R1 and i am looking for a cheaper alternative to buying new forks, I found more then one set of 07 R6 forks on ebay but no R1 forks. Does anyone know if this will work and if not are there any other year R1 forks that will i am just looking for a cheaper fix.
Thanks

only the 07 r1 forks work the main reason is the bracket for the brake calipers, but also have to consider geometry.

Might as well spring for some nice Ohlins. Not sure what stock ones cost, but I would imagine the benefits would outweight the difference in price.
