Rpm Gone Crazy!!!

While servicing my R1, I took out my air filter and cleaned it out. After putting it back in I notice that my RPMs started jumping all over the place while riding. The bike rides great and the RPMs read fine when you rev the engine up at a complete stop. What do you guys think it is? Help!

exup problem... bike is telling u code. get manual for it. or tell me what rpm its starting and stopping at. i take it bike is running fine..just tach is jumping to like 7k rpms??

or is rpms really changing going up and down? or just tach reading?
