Descriptive...
Sooo...you have a brand new what...R1? Brand new as in, new to you or new as in 08 R1? If the latter...just take it back to the dealer.
Horn is simple, button is a switch that allows electricity to the horn...soooo....wires are cut, button doesn't work, or horn is busted. Pick on, replace. But if it's new...that's what warenties are for.

Or it could be a simple twist of the adjustment screw on the horn....
Try that before taking it to the dealer.....unless your scared to touch it then just take it back.

I've had my bike for a couple of years now and I don't think I have ever checked to see if my horn works.
I just flip people off instead.

I still have mine fitted but replaced it with the horns off a mercedes benz so no one can say they didn't hear me after they didn't SEE me.
