I am not 100 % sure as to the exact location of the cable adjusters on the 05 but they have to be somewhere on the cables most commonly at the ends!.
Maybe someone with an 05 can chime in with a picture or something!?

the adjuster is on the cable within a couple inches of the throttle grip under a boot.

what engine work did you do that made the throttle that loose?

personal preference, I guess.
if you do it by the book it says to have some slack but I like mine tight.

just make sure that it's not so tight that the revs go up when you turn the bars.

no play, do your like your women loose? Turn your bike on and crank the front wheel from full left to full right making sure your rpm's remain at idle, you don't want to be halfway through a turn and have the bike jump on you cause your cables were overtightened.

If he cant find the throttle cable adjuster hows he supposed to find the clitoris? Well i guess you could find that on r1-forum too... We shouldnt even tell him about the two wires (the superbike mod) where you can cross to get an extra 15 ponies.
