08 Ktm 690 Smc
Here is my new SUMO...2008 KTM 690 SMC. Wow this bike is ... I only have 122 miles on the OD ( Still in the break in ) and can tell it will be a hand full. The only problem is that the left turn siginal melted on the ride home from the dealers...Looks like all US 690 Eundro and SMC are having this problem. Crap Design ...Other than that the bike is awsome!!

Is there a turn signal mod you can put on the bike? Very nice.

I am so in love with those bikes!
Those pictures are great!
I'm going to get one eventually; I don't care what the cost is.
Thanks for posting the pictures, and please keep us updated about rides you do on it, as well as mods you do, reliability, rideability, and any maintenance issues.
Thanks,
John

Very nice bike. the whole bike screams quality, not just the breakes. Guess that is why they cost almost as much as an R1. I just got an 06 SM with a full Akrapovic exhaust. On a thumper you have to do the exhaust mod!!! I have a feeling your R1 will get some rest now. Congrats on your new bike.

I replaced the US version tail light with the Euro one....Much better looken in my opinion. I also moved the signals down to avoid the hot exhaust gas from melting them. This bike hard.
