That's a clean start to a replica bike...However I'm not to fond of the circular Rossi cartoon stickers. Lose those and I think you have a clean bike.

thanks for the comments-the doctor stickers are just a fill in at the moment. My goal is to paint my bike in the fiat colours next year. I'm lucky to have a mate as a signwriter but the hardest thing we've discussed is whether to paint the frame/swingarm black or leave it.The 01 model is very close in the style of the M1 without mods so cannot wait to do it.

Anytime man!

I would vote for leaving the frame in the natural aluminum color. To me, the raw aluminum will give it more of a "works" look.

Good luck with it!

i'll keep this thread going with updates but i'm keen to paint frame/swing arm black as to me it wouldn't be a true M1 replica but i know what you mean about the silver look.

Black frame/swingarm would set it off!

This is a complete fairing replica kit avaible now only here in Italy, it perfect fits 00/01 R1 without mods (except seats are reduced a bit).
The guy who sells these kits owns also the awesome bike shown in the pics...as you have noticed he has added some other works besides the fairing as mod swingarm...

here are the latest pics of my r1-i purchased a raised link from soupys and it jacked up the rear by 50mm but i took it back down to 30mm from standard-rides good. these pics are at the 50mm height from standard and these are 30mm higher-turns in a bit quicker
