Any body in the central areas interested in maybe getting together for a meet and greet?

Why not put together a ride as we are a squadron and we have had only one previous one!?
A meet and greet is a lunch or something similar?

Any chance we could do a meet somewhere in the middle of the Bay Area and LA, something like Moro Bay or Paso Robles?

Sure, Why not. Anything can be organized and setup given suffitiant time for members to chime in.
Maybe you did not read my post!
What is a meet and great? Does it involve a group ride, meeting for lunch etc!? What are your plans?

Sounds good. I would up for meeting our NorCal riders halfway.

Sorry Sal, yeah a meet and greet is sort of an informal meeting over a lunch or something. I figure we could meet half way have some lunch, show off our bikes and such. Just a chance for some of us to get to know each other. Do to the distance everyone would have to travel I figure our So Cal riders can meet up somewhere and ride together, and the same for the Nor Cal riders. By the time we all met up everyone would have ridden about 150 miles or so just to get to the meet. Then another 150 or so home, so that would pretty much cover the riding portion. Maybe we could plan for something like a month or 2 ahead if needed that would giver everyone ample time to plan around work schedules and all. Then we only have to contend with the weather.

That is actually not a bad idea.
A month at the least for organizing it i would think and if its going to be that large a meeting with those kind of miles traveled it may not be a bad idea to organize a little something more for participants to do!

Yeah we could maybe set up something like a run to the casino or a night time beach cruise in Moro.

I was googling the distances involved and it's going to take some planning. The distances for each direction of travel are pretty unequal.

I was looking at that and I was thinking it might work the best. Realistically some of us are going to luck out and travel a smaller distance but it looked more equal for everyone.

There was a long trips thread put up recently. Kmac suggested some padded riding shorts, I'm going to give them a try. Post #5
