Stock Dyno Runs
Tomorrow I am going in to Dyno my bike on a Dyno with a buddy of mine from DYNOJET.
Every one has been asking what increase the velocity stacks have over a stock bike
We are going to dyno the bike stock, and then dyno it wiht the velocity stacks on the same dyno..
We will then dyno it with a full Graves Ti system, velocity stacks and PClll. WE will get to see the added HP on the same bike with an actual baseline run...
Everyone hs been wondering and I dont think I have seen any hard numbers on it.
After that we will fine tune the custom map and see if we can get anymore gains from the Graves provided map....
Stay tuned

You should get real close to 150 with all your mods. I recently dynoed my 02...I've got the velocity stacks, PCIII, and a Devil high-mount full system: 149.3 HP, 78.5 Torque.
Never did do a baseline run though...

I am very interested in seeing what HP you put out with those mods. The only different mod on my bike besides what you did to yours is I have the Micron serpent system.153.2 HP

WEll i had a bad day the shop got brokemn into so i post poned my dyno runs till this morning, I did them and i pulled 135.6 which is the most HP any R1 has ever put out on the DYNOJET dyno, which is temperature controlled, and run by hte same person each time and bikes adjusted ot be fairly close in set up( chian adjustment, air pressure etc.)
Most R1 he had on there 15 of them all 02's run around 132 to 133.5... so id say i got a ggod one....
Friday we are running agin wiht velocity stacks and then monday wiht a full exhaust.... and stacks and pclll. We will see the end result, should be sweet....

Damn...135 is pretty good for a stock 02, I think. I can't wait to see how much it pulls once you put the mods on it. It'll be interesting to see which mod gives you the most gains. On my bike, the biggest gains were going from slip-on to full system and also just doing a custom map was a huge gain. You've got all the same mods as me except we have different pipes.

Turnone........Thanks for the update. I am anxiously awaiting you results with the mods in step progress.
BTW My 98' R1 put out 135 RWBHP at sea level. This was done with about 3000 miles on the clock.
I have not dynoed my 02' as of yet.
