Ride along needed
This may sound dumb but.... I was looking for someone to go down to Pennsylvania with me Fri night into Sat afternoon. I'm picking my new R1 up down there and work nights. My plan was leaving after work Fri night (10pm) heading down then, getting to PA (9hrs later) Picking up the bike, sleeping for a few hours then head back. Reason I ask if anyone wants to come is because of the drive and short turn around. I'm trying to make my crazy ass plan safe as possible

You guys should also check your local Craigslist for people looking to car pool back & forth to go with you guys. A perty little femail for company that pays for 1/2 the gas cant be too bad!

I kinda did something like this 2 years ago. Flew to PA from Oklahoma city first thing in the morning after staying up all night. Picked up the car I was buying and drove straight back with a friend of mine. Pretty much it was a 27 hour round trip but I did have a buddy who co drove the majority of the way.

It's been a month now, but if you don't mind me asking why did you have to drive all the way to PA to pick up the bike? Don't they have any up there in ME?
Also, figured I'd tell you! You were the inspiration behind me doing so much research on the R1 and wanting one. As soon as I seen you post pics of your bike on R6forum, It was almost love at first sight.
Gotta thank you for posting the pics of the Sexy @$$ R1 you have. Treat her nice, so she can do the same in return!

Hey thanks! I bought it down there because it was almost $2k cheaper. All dealers here wanted MSRP or more.

You have to point me in that direction. What dealership was it that you got it for $2k cheaper then MSRP? There are 2 Yamaha dealers within 15 miles from where I live but I don't think that they are going any cheaper then MSRP.
Did you get it $2k cheaper through negotiation or what they had it listed at? I live in PA so PA isn't very far from me!
EDIT: The previous line maybe a bit confusing. Did they have it listed $2k cheaper or was it through negotiation that you bought the bike for $2k cheaper?
