motoneko.com is a horrible vendor

I have made online purchases for next to everything for the last 5-10 years. Out of all the horrible vendors and websites I have come across, MOTONEKOPARTS.COM is by far the worst! They claim to compete for the ever infamous LOW PRICE GUARANTEE, which they said would happen for the legit deal I found on a Shark Helmet elsewhere. A day later, they say, "Oh, we sold it already and there are no more." I remain calm and explain my frustration (all through email, NO ONE ANSWERS THEIR PHONE HERE, EVER!!!!) and the lady assisting me insists how sorry she is that her associates sold it from under her. I ask for a new deal on Shark's Duhamel model and she says she can chop their cost, but only a few bucks, I agreed. It has been over a month, I have been billed but received no confirmation, tracking number, etc. They wont reply to my emails and they won't answer their phone. I sent them an email today stating my disgust and explained I was going to file a complaint with paypal....5 minutes later, I get a response from MOTONEKO through email, "Order Cancelled." Funny how they replied to that. This does no justice to how livid I am with these f*ckheads. If they didn't want business, they should not have stolen my money for a month, I'm not a f*cking bank! These guy's suck more than a U.K. prostitute!!

I purchased an Alpinestars MX-1 suit for an excellent price from MotoNeko about a year and a half ago. I was able to get a hold of them on the phone and spoke with a man named Shree (spelling?). It was a very smooth transaction and I've looked at them for purchases multiple times since then. I hope this was a fluke as I've only had a good experience. I sent a friend to them to purchase an Arai helmet and they were able to help him out with sizing/returns with minimal fuss.

My research is 50/50 so far...those who like these guys like them a lot, those that don't are absolutely irate. Personally, obviously, I am far beyond disgusted with their customer service!!! ...they do have good prices though, if you live by them, that is a bonus, otherwise, S.O.L for the rest of us. I mean seriously, try calling them right NOW at 310 301 8100. If you have a 310 area code, they will probably answer knowing my 1/2 as* luck.

Sad to hear this. I got an Arai RX-7 Gibernau helmet from them about a year ago for a good deal. Customer service really is an important part of business that gets small change too often. Hopefully, you can get this resolved to your satisfaction.

They are complete whores. I just turned them 'in' to AMEX fraud. I ordered a new Arai and they sent the wrong one and did not deliver the gloves I ordered. After a month, I finally got 'Shree?' on the phone who promised to follow up and said the helmet I ordered was in stock and would ship out. Nothing for two months now, until I get an emal saying they have 'moved to Calfornia.' No response yet to my emails, impossible to reach by phone, and still no gloves and no correct helmet. As I said, whores.

And they still are not responding to emails and the phone is always 'full and cannot accept messages.'

I stand by my earlier assessment and still am out the amount nearly a thousand dollars between the helmet and gloves.

Motorcycle Superstore and a hundred others are far more reliable and no more expensive -- and have a real, live customer service person available.

Penny wise pound foolish.

Shop elsewhere. Dave

This list will grow in time....

How fuggin' dare they? This sport and us as riders obviously depend on reliable, quick access to parts and safety equipment, and for that reason, we absolutely need good customer service as a bare minimum. Parts quality and delivery quickness should follow thereafter,... it really isn't much to ask. We keep them in business with 'loan payments' basically, lending them our money until they decide when its right to ship stuff out, and if you ask me, unless it is huge or has a great delay reason, all parts and products should be on your doorstep within 2-3 days. Simple. I don't hate much, I just hate jerk offs!

I suggest you grow up and call your credit card company. posting about it on more forums isnt going to get your money back and it damn sure wont get you whatever you paid for. Any way you look at it, whatever is going on with Motoneko is not acceptable by anyone's standards.

Yeah my experience with these guys has been BRUTAL. I ordered a Jardine slip on June 8th. June 12th I bug them to send me a tracking number. Michelle gives me a tracking number and I wait....

July 3rd rolls around and the tracking number shows my exhaust as delivered...but I never got anything. Guess what, no Michelle by email and no one answers their dang phones. After multiple calls to USPS and Canada Post I figure out that the tracking number was for some other dude on the other side of the country with the last name as me.

So now I'm pi$$ed. I still can't get a hold of anyone on the phone and Michelle isn't responding to email. I send one more message saying they have 1 day to get back to me with a resolution or I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and calling Paypal/Visa for a chargeback.

So guess what...July 8th rolls around, no one has called me...no one has emailed me and my pipe is still not here. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau yesterday. I now have to deal with Paypal and /or Visa to get my money back (which they have had since June 8th).

I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THESE FOOLS AGAIN...AND IF YOU DO YOU'RE A SUCKER!!!!! THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS!!!!!

I know why things are a clusterfucck for them right now. They just moved from Baltimore to L.A.. I know its not an excuse but thats why its bad at the mooment. My friend is pretty tight with Shree and he always hooks him up. He was gonna give me the best deal ever on some A* gloves but the guy on ebay accepted my offer. Once they get up and running they should be doing ok. The reason he was gonna give the OP such a good deal on the helmet is b/c he had it in the shop, anything he has laying around he marks down ALOT, if hes gotta order it, hell still give a good price but it wont be as low.

As I said before, some people love them, some hate them, but regardless, emails still exist as do phone lines, messages, faxes, credit charges, etc. They have the time to take all of our money though, don't they? If they claim to be in business, how can you possible defend their negligence?!....they supposedly offer good prices, and if you read this thread from the start, you will notice I already pointed that out. Over and over, less you be from Maryland or Cali, you are S.O.L. with these d*ckheads. Give someone else your money, someone who deserves it, more expensive or not (I sound like a child, but these focks should be terminated from profit making)
