Teardown of 09 R1

couple pictures i took from the shop,

So far it looks like to me and head mechanic (he noticed it im not taking credit just agreeing) that a connecting rod bolt had a fracture in it. Whether this was due to
A) fracture before installation
B) Improper Heat treatment
C) Unknown that would cause the connecting rod bolts to shear off (piston getting stuck in cylinder? blowing a skirt?

There were 2 SHEAR PLANES on the forward facing connecting rod bolt. usually during a failure from my knowledge...there is only 1 shear plane. The fact that there is two leads me two believe that the first shear plane was caused by something prior to the starting of this engine. Or the heat treating process on the bolt wasnt proper.

It still means that this motor was completely and totally destroyed. Head-Valves-cases-crank ALL scrap now.
