I added the 2007 service manual to the link below (on my signature). I am not sure, but it may cover the 2008 model year also (or be very close).
If anyone has the 2008 service manual and/or parts manuals (or any year manuals), let me know and I'll add them to this server so people can download everything from one place.

I'm looking for a service manual for a 2001 r1. I can find every manual but the 2001. Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

I didn't necessarily ask for a manual. I asked why there is everyone but that one. I've spent a bit of time searching this site and others without much luck.
