Many looks, but no responses. Why? Priced too high? What do y'all think is a reasonable asking price? Thanks.

In case your wondering, the bike has never been down. I simply removed all the stickers from the fairings for the clean look. The stripe on the tank has clear coat over it, so that is something I did not want to mess with.

Parker...
I think your bike is real nice. Having said that, I don't think you'd be doing the best thing (financially) selling it with all the mods. Your best bet is to part out the "goodies" and return the bike to stock. Given the miles and time of year, I'd say you ask $5600 and be happy with anything above $5K (again - put back to stock). Now add up what you think you might get for the "goodies" and compare that to your current asking price.
The reality is that the goodies do make your bike more saleable and can ask a better $ than a similar - but stock - same-same R1... but it's not so significant as people are not usually willing to part with much more than $5500 for an 04 with 18K miles (and it would have to be a really nice bike at that).
I've been watching CL and ebay for a potential track bike and if I wanted a nice streeter, I'd seriously consider your bike. But I will tell you that I'd walk at $6150 (and I like your bike and what you've done). There are just too many options out there competeing with you.
Now if you hold out for a while, you may find the perfect match and get a few more $s. I think it'd be hard to argue that given what your modes cost in addition to the value of the bike stock, it's a good deal at $6750... but that is NOT the reallity of the market (excepting if you can find that perfect match).
Hope you don't take any of this wong. I'm not trying to beat you down. Just hoping to give you a honest assesment that you can use to help you get what you want out of such a nice One!
Good luck with the sale dude!
Jim
PS - if you don't sell it and have it early Spring of 2010 - hit me up and I may well take it off your hands if I can't find a tracker...

Yeah I am in the market to buy in the next 8 weeks and all I have is $5000 cash and when the time comes $7000. As a buyer I am looking at $6000 tops. You will get way more parted out.

Let me know when you decide to part out your Satos & Speedohealer because I'm interested.

Never noticed this b4... but can we see the other sides of the bike??? Oh and a pic showing the mileage on the odometer would be greatly appreciated.

I just sold my '04 R1 for 7k last Saturday. It had similiar mods. However, I had the guy give me 2k down and finance the rest for a year. He picked the bike up when the last transfer cleared. If no one bites, just wait till summer.
