it's about 4 extra links per inch. So for 6" you'll need roughly 24 extra. That will get you very close and ensure you have enough. So a 150 link chain would work perfect.

Thanks man. Do you think $750 is too much to pay for parts and labor on a stretch kit installed? Or should I buy the extensions off ebay $255.. plus buy chain & brake line...

I'm really not sure as i've never done it or looked into it. Not really my thing. If I were to do it though I would do it right and buy a full swingarm that is longer. Probably be way over 750, but I would know it's safe.I'm not a fan of extensions.

750!! for install and parts no way if you have any mechanical ability do it yourself. The extensions should take you 15 to 20 min to install, cut your old chain measure your new one cut and install I run a master link on mine for easy removal so I can go back to stock wheelbase when not racing. You can get a rear steel braided brake line off of e-bay for 50 bucks up to 6 feet long. Hope this helps.

lol... my question is are you going to take this stretching thing serious?
if not then, just get on ebay and buy a while "stretch kit": extentions, chain, and brakeline... and then take it to a shop and pay someone an ungodly amount of money to put it on for you... cause obviously this is only a fad for you
if it is serious to you then, then get a whole arm made: hardcore, evil, thonmpson, myrtle west, or macintosh... get you a quality chain(zzz), 150 links is great for a 6" over... brake lines are the easy part, get at core moto, they can give you any color combo and any length you need for the rear(cheap price too)... be prepared this costs money... but a way to save money is u buy a case of beer and invite your buddies over, shouldn't take longer then two hours
