I tried on the Handroids before ordering my Heroic SP-Rs - felt good in the store, but the cyborg look was too much for me. Absolutely love the Heroics though.

For boots, I went with TCX Comptetizione after trying on several different A* and SIDIs - they felt the best on my feet - but they definitely don't satisfy the "no-squeak" criteria.

Did the Handroids feel alright tho? Have you heard anything about them?

Where did you get the Heroics from mate?

The Handroids felt great on my hands, although I didn't ride with them. The Heroics feel even better though, and fit me great - I take an XL in most gloves and the fingers tend to be a tad bit long, with the Heroics a size 11 is perfect.

AFAIK, the only place to get the Heroics is directly from Heroic Racing Apparel: http://www.heroicracing.com/

Big thumbs up for the Heroic SP-Rs here as well. I looked at Todd's website and didn't find any specific info on international shipping rates but you can just email him to find out... todd.mcnabney@heroicracing.com

I've tried on the handroid before and it felt great. If you don't care for the look maybe consider the A* GP Pro or GP Tech gloves. I've got the Pro and it is one of the best fitting gloves I've ever owned.

I recently got into an accident while wearing them and came down hard on the left hand/forearm. The leather on the palm split but the (what appears to be kevlar) underneath was unscathed as was my hand. I'll tell you I was very glad I had armor for my wrist as the damage the glove took could have been bad news for me. I can post up a pic if you want.

As for boots I have yet to find any proper track/racing boots that don't squeak. My A* SMX+ boots squeak like a mofo. I assume the A* Super Tech boots would too but I can't speak from experience. I've also owned the SMX-R and SMX-5 boots. They don't have the same level of protection but they do not squeak at all.
