Gear indicator installation help
Hi!
I just bought a Starlane gear indicator for my 2006R1. but unfortunately it only indicates 1st gear. I've set the indicator 6 gears. according to the manual, once you have set the desired number gears the "1" will start blinking and i'll just have to engage first gear, release clutch and run the bike between 4000-8000rpm for few second and it would automatically turn "2". but I've kept the bike running for over 10sec at constant speed without changing the gear, but the indicator never changed to "2". I've also tried changing the gear using levers to see what might happen but nothing. The indicator just stayed in "1" and continuously blinking. Do anyone know what the problem might be? could this be a problem of the wiring connection? If so, can anybody give me where to get the wiring diagram of my bike. Need advise. thanks
