anyone fitted an 07-08 exhaust on 04-06?

'sup guys! I am looking to get an aftermarket full line for my 04. I can't afford new so I am lloking for good used.
I found tons and tons of deals on 07-08 full line but nothing really interesting for 04-06 gen.
Anyone know what's involved to fit a 07-08 full line on an 04-06 gen.

It would be an Akra line.
preferably Akra evo 2.

I think headers do not have same angle or something......

Swingarms are different from 04-06 & 07-08. The04-06 arm has a hole in the middle that the exhaust passes through. The 07 & up ssingarm has a gap on the brake side of it just below the dearest that the exhaust passes beside.
07-08 exhaust wont work. Check out this thread. Full Leo. Vince systems for inexpensive price.

I installed a slip on graves 07 carbon can exhaust on my bike. I mostly use it for track, had the track plastics/street plastics on and bad ju ju! It slipped on fine, mounted fine from my 06 graves titanium exhaust, but the cans are much higher and end right at the rear plastics area.

I burnt the back and melted the light. 07 plastics are shorter then the 04-06 R1! (duh) So I thought mount up a rear tail from the 07 on my 06. The race plastic fairing I bought did not match up with the bolt hole on the rear subframe hole. I did not go as far as trying a complete subframe exchange to make it match. Just bought a new exhaust! Again, this was on a graves CF cans set up, not the Ak.
