O2 Sensor Question

What is the advantages of removing the 02 sensor from the bike?

Current Mods:
Akrapovic Evolution Full Exhaust
BMC race
PC3
Smog block offs

Thats it as far as mods currently performance wise that is.

Soon to come:
Jett Reflash
Factory Pro Velocity Stacks

What would i gain by removing it?

The 02 sensor will screw with the PC and mess up the fuel ratio

Its a good ?, one I asked my Mech about the O2 sensor and he said that for dyno tuning he disconnects because it does mess with the Air/Fuel Ratio, but after the fact when going around normal street riding probably no biggie. He told me the biggest factor is when you go to higher elevations that the bike will not be able to make the minor +/- adjustments to suit the elevations... making it run like dookie...

I noticed a difference when I disconnected and re-connected O2 back up....
disconnecting or leaving it be is all you. Racers don't use it obviously because they can tune/ auto tune for given conditions...
But
