Do 07-08 forks Fit 04-06?
I have an '05 and saw some forks on E-Bay listed as fitting 04-08.... Are they all really the same size?

Forks would fit but you'd need Calipers and rotors (or rotor spacers) too

Doubtful, as Gecko said, you'd need new calipers and Rotors or Rotor Spacers. I think the 07-08 Changed the rotor carrier and rotor size to accommodate the larger Caliper, so i don't even think spacers will work.

If you get the 07 forks you will need 07 calipers too. 05 has 108mm mounting but the 07 has 130mm.
The rotors on an 05 are 320mm and the 07 are 310mm, so you can either put 310mm rotors on ( bolt pattern is the same ) or keep the 05 rotors and fit 5mm spacers to the 07 calipers.

You'll need an 07 mud guard/fender too
See I'm good for the important information

can you use 07 fork tubes with your 04 to 06 fork internals. I want to change the tube color from black to gold but don't wanna pay for ohins since I'm good with my stock forks. know a guy selling 07 gold stock forks for a good price but not sure if i can do the swap. i dont want to change my whole front end basically and pay out a bunch of money just o use 07 forks cuz they are gold.

Your other alternative is to get the forks and then get hold of some caliper adapters to use your 04 stock parts.

Actually, that is incorrect... the front fenders from 02-08 are all the same of course with the exception of color. If you don't believe me, check the part number.

Or contact me for a set of '07 calipers and rotors with only a few thousand miles on them.
