Need Help, I Have A Double Click Sound?

hey guys I just bought my 2005 R1 not to long ago. and today it just started haveing a weird "double clicking sound when i let off the clutch and rolling in first gear 2-5mph. It's just a real quick "click".."click" then it goes away and everythings fine runs great very strong and powerful, shifts perfect etc etc... It is not a clunk,or clang or a grind. And Im not sure if its comming from the front end or what its just kinda weird it only happens when releasing the clutch comming into 1st gear but it does not happen in any other gear. The bike now has 7,898 miles on it. anyone had anything like this?

If it's the actual shock that's clicking, yes.

Have you checked the upper and lower mounting points to make sure that they are torqued correctly.

yea i have. I have also put some wd40 on the shock and the bolts around it. Ive also put a zip tie on the brake line (not to tight) around where that metal clip/clamp that holds it in place, so far i havent heard it since i have done all that, i am looking at o'hlins shock's,maybe that will give it a bit of a stiffer ride. and also help from bottoming out with a passenger. since the r1 is lowred and extended the pass rear sets hit my Carbon fiber tire hugger, lol but with me on there it just makes noise and creeks, lol but it seems i have stoped the noise for right now. Thank's for the reply

Fingers crossed then

Aftermarket shock is a great upgrade.
Make sure you get the right spring for your weight.
